I had to stay up till 4am to get it finished, but the top is pieced! This is very exciting for me, seeing as I really haven't sewn my own quilt before from start to finish.
Off to go photograph my finished product, and also piece together my purple giraffes top!

And here is Purple/Giraffes design...unfortunately I seem to be missing a single block! Hopefully it makes its appearance soon, or I won't be sewing again until we get settled in California!

I think those are the cutest lil quilts. I need too much sleep though to stay up till 4am. I would rather go to bed and then get up at 4am, I am glad you were able to get your projects done.
Both quilts are great. I love the bright colors. The penguins are fun. Purple and yellow are two of my favorite colors for quilts. Hope you find your missing block!

Aren't I the lucky one to have met you through the event! I have a great admiration for anyone who would serve our country through the military. I am originally from Philly, married an Irishman and moved to Ireland back in 1997.I just became a follower and hope we get to know each other. Your children are gorgeous and I can see you are a lucky person.
