Step one of my scrappy quilt!!
I was SOO close to actually sewing this weekend, but realized I hadn't bought ANY 100% cotton thread. Well, at least it's an excuse to go back to the fabric store ;)
Here is about half the blocks I cut out... and unless I decide to make this quilt larger, I won't even need that many! I guess that's what I get for altering the pattern.

I actually got all my homespuns together last weekend hoping to start a new project. They are all washed, ironed, and ready to go!
I really like your plaid. I have gotten plaids together twice and then put them away. Maybe a 9 patch quilt is whats called for.
This is a very cute pattern and I love how the plaids fit into it. I like the scrappy look of many fabrics myself. Congrats on the new baby too, your pics are so cute!!!!
